Wake up Mommy, It's your birthday, you can do whatever you want.

Except sleep in I guess.

First, I opened presents.

Then, the kids and I had breakfast. Here is the scene of the crime...

So far, one of the best mornings of my life. Even if I didn't get to sleep in.

Christmas in Pictures

First, a little Christmas spirit from my friends in the parking garage.

A few years ago, I would still be fuming about this. Now, I can't stop laughing. I look at it now and I still giggle. I only wish I could find this car again and leave a Christmas card on her windshield. You know it's got to be a woman. Look at the handwriting. Plus, there is no way a man would take the time to write a note; he'd just key my car.

Okay, for real, here it is - our Christmas weekend in pictures.

He came!!! Santa really did come down the chimney. He even left footprints. And ate cookies. And drank milk and fed his reindeer the nine carrots we left out for them.

So, we danced and then we opened presents

Bonno got a special gift from Santa - who obviously heard about her little mishap last month ...

Daddy officially became part of the Croc Family . . .

And, the wildest present of all arrived a day late . . .

Get ready,Here we go!

What kind of crazy parents buy their children a zip line for Christmas?
We do.

After that much excitement, we needed a nap

Kindness

I'm volunteering with the Art Appreciation Program at Wolf's school which means I am in his classroom once a month. Last week, while waiting for the kids to finish writing about their favorite food -- Wolf's was "My favrit food is ice creem cake be cus it has sugr" -- I watched my son with his kindergarten friends. From across the room, I saw him having a conversation with a little girl on the other side of the table. After a few minutes, he nodded, got up, walked around the table, bent down and tied her shoe.

I'm not sure why I find this so touching, but it was really incredibly sweet.
